Boats are a lot of money. If it's a used boat then you need to know up front, and in writing, the mechanical condition. This is a crucial step in representing the buyer. Realistically, we are talking about a used boat but that doesn't mean a repair bill, due to neglect, instead of maintenance costs.

If you opt for a new boat you can skip the mechanical inspection as the factory warranty will be active.

Understanding propulsion principals. WOT (wide open throttle) rpm range, propping and installation are extremely important to fuel economy as well engine longevity. Owners rely on the boat manufacturer, the dealer or the previous owner to have done it properly. A boat built 25 years ago can benefit with newer products that are available to prevent some large repair bills. The building practices and materials of today's boats can be used to improve on older systems needing replacement. A much wider variety of props, steering systems, fuel valves/fittings, ventilation motors, shore power units, etc. are available now.

I really like my boat but the repair costs are killing me. I can't sell this thing because it doesn't work. Whatever the reason, there is a time to consider a re-power. It may be diesel or gasoline and how much will the installation cost? We can look into your options.
